Heron's Head Music Festival, May 9, 2026

Seven bands staging a FREE festival at San Francisco’s The New Farm on May 9, 2026. Vibrafolk kicks off the festivities starting at 12:30. Music will play more or less continuously until 9 PM. It is a The New Farm is a non-profit venue nice enough to allow us to host this event there, so donations are strongly encouraged.

The event is BYOEverything: food, beverages, edibles (uh, other than food), clothing layers (it is San Francisco, after all, and right by the water, at that), a blanket to sit on (there are some sofas and stuff there, too), sun protection, stuffed meerkats…oh, you know the drill.

We are going to have a mighty time, so come on down!!

Sacramento County Fair, May 21, 2026

There may be nowhere that more epitomizes the history of the state of California than Sacramento, and no better place to celebrate that than at the Sacramento County Fair. Vibrafolk will be there! Come find me at the Community Stage at 2 PM on Thursday, May 21. Vibrafolk loves playing fairs and adores playing outdoors. Head on out to Gold Country for great music, fine vendors, and, naturally, the sound of Vibrafolk rolling over it all!

Not Your Funny Auntie’s Folk Music

A unique sound.

Vibrafolk is the first and only folk vibraphone artist. A lovely sound that invigorates and intoxicates, and tastes strangely like coffee with maple syrup in it.

Old, new, borrowed, and blue.

Vibrafolk traverses the full range of folk tradition, from traditional fiddle tunes and blues to songs by people you know and people you’ve never heard of.

Magic Pixie Dust in your ears

Vibrafolk features the vocals and vibraphone of Larry the O, who weaves dreams from waves of honey and green tea.
